The Gala

Last year’s Gala “Building The Future Together” was a great success for our school with more than 360 guests and $1.5M net raised and much fun was had by all as you can see by clicking on this link.

This year’s Gala focuses on ‘Raising Free Inspired Spirits’ and helping generate the necessary funds to ensure that the FIS’s development projects are successfully realised over the next 5 years. Over 360 guests from across the school community as well as corporate and local supporters will gather to share in the ‘joie de vivre’ that is the FIS and demonstrate their commitment to the future development of the FIS. United in their belief that the FIS ‘provides, together with families, a nurturing and culturally diverse community that inspires our young people to realize their true potential as confident, independent learners and responsible global citizens with moral values and integrity.’ Parents, alumni, donors, sponsors, current or future partners and the whole community of friends of the FIS are invited to attend the dinner which will take place on Saturday 7th February 2014 at Aberdeen Marina Club.

he Live Auction will take place during the dinner and the evening’s auctioneer will be Francois Curiel, Chairman of Asia-Pacific for Christie’s, a leading Auction House in both the local and international arena. A Silent Auction highlighted by TapEvent through iPad biddings from cocktail time to dinner, will also take place with a multitude of high quality prizes.
